to be honest, the best engine exhaust package wont come in your "Stage 1,2,3" etc i found after researching this that for the amount of money you pay for the back box on an rc40, you can get a fully custom system worked for your car by a specialist exhaust place, and with the kits, i believe that if you really want power, spend a little extra and grind out the smaller valve on your cylinder head, people who have done it have alot of power from this, also and this is what im going to do in a year or so when i get a job, the supercharger has taken off down under where i am, and because we have alot of biiiiiiiiig engines down here, some standard cars are 6 litre, we can fit huge pistons, big cam, big valve head, high lift rockers and bolt on a japanese cars supercharger and there will be a mould of your head in you headrest! dont listen to me if you dont want to, but dont think because im 14 i dont know, our friends 1380 has 115bhp at the wheels!

But extensive testing has been done on the RC40 and it has been proven to be the best for the A series engine. You may be able to get a custom made exhaust for the same price but how much will all the testing cost to see whether it flows as well or better than the RC40.

Tried and tested is the only way for me. To be honest if im looking for performance I only ever look at what the top mini racers are using as these people have their cars tuned up constantly and as every little bit of power counts they are not gunna put some new toy on their car unless it increases the power.

But then you get cars like mine! I am having to get a "custom" exhaust made due to where the engine is. I hope to be able to drive down to Maniflow and get them to do a Manifold for me and a man I met at Stoneleigh to make me a titanium back box for me as well.

It all costs money thou ;)
