Might be a silly question but have you checked if the bulbs are blown by any chance? Surely theres little chance of 6 of them blowing at the same time, but check anyway!

Mmm, I have had simmilar problems in the past and just after restoring my mini the hazards stopped working. However from what I remember of the fuse box if the fuse is gone or making a bad connection then the side lights do not work either so that is an easy test. I changed my fuse box for the new blade type which is a very easy mod and is much much better.

The best thing to check if you have not done already is the hazard switch. When the hazards are on it removes the supply to the indicator stalks so the normal indicator circuit can not be operated. When you switch the hazards off the supply is restored and the hazard supply is isolated. Wether you follow that or not I am basically suggesting you try another hazard switch or at least check that it operates properly. If it has not been used for some time the contacts can become dirty and stop it working.
