Yup!
But you might want an enclosure for it too

In my last mini I had a 10 ins phoenix gold sub in the boot , it was a very tight fitt , i had to take the wires off the boot lid to get it in (and take out the spare wheel ), In the end i used it with a 12ins infinity sub on the back seat .

Nick, that kicker sub that you said you have... What do you think of it? I'm thinking of using them in my alfa (if I get one)
I thought of using dual 10"s, but now that I think bout it, maybe dual 12"? Or single 12"?

Pavel its a very good sub, it is an excellent all rounder im a bit of an SQ man and with the gain halfway up and the bass on the HU turned down its perfect, im running around 300w RMS thru it but it does take up2 750wRMS i never got round to buying that big an amp but i love it and wouldnt change it for much else atm

v.nice expensive though, gota say i prefer my SQ to my SPL though was playing with a 2x 12" vibe box only off an alpine 180watt max amp and it shouck the place to pieces, though io must admit the am really cudnt keep up

Why don't you have the best of both, fit an eq,save one set of settings for spl and the andother for sound quality.I used an Audio Control Eq throught the sound off season sq setting won me the UK Amatuer 1 Championship.

i used to have a 10" boxed sub in the boot of my mini, had to take my spare wheel out and everything, then had a blowout, stuck 30 miles from home!!!, got rid of the rear seats now, got 2 12's in an enclosure instead.
