It is a 1996 1275 SPI rover sidewalk (limited edition of 1000) in factory diamond white (a rare colour as they're usually kingfisher blue or charcoal grey, don't quote me but i think they made 500 blue 350 grey and 150 white or something like that)
in the last 12 months its had just about everything grubby or old looking replaced. It had a nut and bolt resto about 5-6 years ago (prev owner).
I have replaced myself or had replaced by colourworks classic specialists,
all four swivel pins/ball joints
both front wheel bearings
seats repaired
fuel sender
K&N induction kit
lambda sensor
head lights
driver side window mechanism
both bottom arms
both track rod ends
both tie bars
rebushed subframes
both front wings
front panel
front bumper
4 new arches
water pump
full service (plugs, oil, filters etc)
fully wax oyled
all body work and paint was done proffetionally by colour works totalling 3200
I've also added,
Tims rev counter
Accuspark adjustable rev limiter (incase the Mrs finds my keys and took it for a spin lol)
Cigarette socket
handbrake sleeve
Hidden push button start (for security)
Ignition live isolator (for security)
2 front speakers (hidden)
silicone top hose
Blue HT leads
Red spark indicators
powerflex exhaust mounts
braided filter to block oil pipe
Chrome - rocker nuts, head nuts, dipstick, relay covers, coil cover, all coil bracketry, brake fluid reservoir cover, oil cap, bonnet stay, wiper arms and blades.
I've also painted the engine, throttle linkage, fuel lines (metal parts) radiator top, coil and plastic covers.
Oh and i've put new tyres on lol
Its cost me an absolute fortune and 12 months to get to this stage but worth every penny. as i said hoopers engineers have valued it but they can either be spot on or miles out, they're never close lol.
heres a couple of pics. (the engine pic is before i freshened up the red engine paint, its now bright red like the radiator top)
