http://www.theminifo...c=25310&hl=carb

but i don't think it applys to webers as much.

Whilst no expert, I would suggest that even a single webber is too much for a 998, unless it is in a ridiculous state of tune !

What sort of mods have you got at the moment ?

You're wasting your money on a better carb if you've not done any head work on the engine.

well dont no much about the engine but will have to get an expert to look at it all tho it does seem prety quick for a 998 but then again it is the first mini i have ever owned so will get back to ya on that one

ok thanks

dcoe40... spose you could run it as a single split, but the benefits over an HIF would be neglegable.... I s'pose it's what you are use too, and being a ford man, webbers come naturally..

You don't happen to have a 45 kicking around on the off chance ?? need one for my 1/4 miler. cheeky eh !

Not me though! :P I'll be going a completely different way! But as I say, some people will definately go for them (and save you listing fees and the "lottery" that is ebay!)
