It’s starting to come together though, once you get the healboard and floor repairs done it will feel like you have climbed the mountain.

not a massive update had to change the disks and pads on the daily fiesta which took some free mini time away,
removed the rest of the heal board no wonder my subframe bolts would not come undone
theres a repair to do on the floor as the pitting is very bad
but im am now considering getting a new floor as at the front in the foot well both sides are very badly pushed in from some dougnut jacking the car up and pushing the floor in both sides plus areas were the batter cable goes in a channel looks abit crusty the idea of fresh start is appealing as now is the time.. as I already have a new heal board I think this would fit ? http://www.minispare...Floor.aspx|Back

If you are thinking of replacing the whole floor you would be better using the m-machine panels.

The Heritage floor is the MPI version so the wrong shape.

Having a proper look I think I will be ok with to the first flute I then will just have a few repairs on the fuel pipe tab areas etc probably but its probably best to try and keep as much as the original.
I did to the first flute on mine plus some repairs. In hindsight a full floor would have been quicker to fit.

so I have decided to keep the floor, so today made a repair section up to replace the badly pitted section on the rear of the floor.
I will be replacing the inner cill with a panel that just goes past the first flute .
the new piece
welded in still to be cleaned up I cleaned up enough just to try the new heal board in place the rest I will do when its back on the rollover jig be much easier.
also took delivery or a regulator and adaptor for the welder for bigger gas bottle .

got some more done, now got the heal board welded in amazing how much it adds to the structure was abit wibbly wobbly with out it. I stupidly forgot to drill the holes in the boot floor in the rear seat part so had to do it in place I only missed a few times which with some cooper pipe on the other side filled up just fine. also got the rear bulkhead welded fully in on the seat area will dress the bottom heal board welds when its on the jig again.
