right there several routes that can be taken but i have used this one for the last 4 years misses out most of the traffic you will hit if you follow your sat nav or goole or multimap etc

map showing going through bruxelle is not a good route as hit loads of rush hour traffic thats where sat nav etc will take you

just need to go dunkerque head towards lille

then mon then namur then vervilars then mullenbach

i just put dunkerque to mullenbach via namur that takes you E42 nearly all the way there joins up with other route just further along missing out bruxelles and all the traffic

if you go Bruge, Brussels, Achen and in you'll find it is not only fast but a damn sight smoother/better roads.

traffic is not as bad as you may think.
