Basically, ordered my Vivarium for my beardie the other day. I emailed the bloke as the listing had ended. I just asked if he was relisting it. (It was a spanking one using manufactor spec and link to the site etc Not a private seller as far as i know) He was and said they'd be on eBay for the next 3 weeks.

On the old ad it said more than 10 avaliable, 2 sold, and the bloke had very good feedback. Ive had an email from eBay today saying that the new listing has been removed (Ive already bought one and its supposed to be here Monday/Tuesday) and that i should try and contact him incase hes trying to pull a fast one. I have emailed him polietly just explaing the situation and that if no contact is made by this time tommorw i'll open a dispute.

My question is, should i be worried? Or is this just the bloke getting rid of ads? (Oh year forgot to ad, it was a Buy it Now ad with time left on it so no reason to close the ad unless he'd run out of Vivariums)

Thanks

Forget that he has no other listing on eBay now either.

Ebay may have removed the ads due to breaking rules.

I have bought from a seller who had the advert removed shortly after I bought an item from him. The seller was good and I recieved my item. He explained ebay removed the advert because he had broken a rule.

completed listings shown here: http://completed.sho...4...dc=1&_rdc=2 (note you will need to be logged in to view)

Maybe he put a word or sentance in the ad he wasnt allowed to use for example?

The seller removed the ad i bought my item through. IDK if ebay have removed his other listings, i doubt it though.

Just phoned the number and a man answered doing a Bussniess Hello type bit. I asked him if he was selling vivariums on ebay. He said no but was the seller a Bh... somethin username. I said yes and he said they've just moved and gave me a number. I phoned it and it rang normally and then went to a landline answermachine.

:(

I cant cancel it as the money is already been sent to him. All i can do is put a Paypal complaint thingy. I've got 45 days til i can open a dispute. So just thinking, im going to give it til tuesday which is the latest its predicted to be here, i'm going to keep calling and then if nothing happens open the dispute.

The only problem is, all the while he's got my money (If hes a scammer) then i cant order a beardie til the Viv is set up :(

Maybe the seller only relisted the viv on ebay as you wanted to buy one from him
As you have now bought it he no longer wants the viv listed so canceled it? just a thought

Give him time to send the viv to you and if you do not receive it within the delivery time specifed then open a claim with ebay

He didnt relist it just for me as he had relisted one while i was p'ming him. He was planning to list them until they were gone for 3 weeks, some how i dont think hes going to sell over 10 (Could be 11 or 111? Who knows!?) in the space of three days to be honest.

Edit: What i do find strange though is that when i phoned the first number a while ago the bloke on the other end knew the Ebay sellers username instantly and had the number ready within a second or two????
