We are in the middle of nowhere over here, so we're safe - I hope. Pity about the power going off though . . .

Thanks Ben :) This site looks amazing! I doubt i'll need to learn all these techniques but I think it should help me grasp the basics faster.

It is for the older photoshop but is the same principle on the later versions. Which version do you have? I am using CS6

I am using my friends copy, which is CS5. Plus I wasn't planning on using photoshop initially. It just has so many more editing options that he suggested I give it a try.

I suggested something stupidly simple and cheap, that maybe the throttle body could do with a clean out with some carb cleaner. But As I'm not working and apparently 'only' work on minis, what do I know? He later then paid someone else another £200 to come out to do a diagnostics check. Which came back with nothi...

I don't think it is only women who these people try to cheat. Unless you look like a mechanic, a lot of them will probably try and con you. Solution, grease up your hands and wear overalls and steel toed boots when you take your car in :)

Washing ones car is very relaxing, and the shiny, clean product at the end, always makes me smile :)
