Thanks Ben :) This site looks amazing! I doubt i'll need to learn all these techniques but I think it should help me grasp the basics faster.

It is for the older photoshop but is the same principle on the later versions. Which version do you have? I am using CS6

I am using my friends copy, which is CS5. Plus I wasn't planning on using photoshop initially. It just has so many more editing options that he suggested I give it a try.
