Just a quick question guys. (Didn't think it was worth making a topic just for this)How long does it roughly take to change 2 front cones if all goes well?

We did our the other week, but the subframe was on the bench. We couldnt remove the cones without removing the top arm and they had it. I dont know how people manage to get them out with the top arm in, but hey ho. Id leave 2.5 hours for each side :)

all goes well 1hr to do both sides, itthe top arms are all rusted up etc etc anything upto a day

Lottie back from the paint shop, looks new again despite only having the one side painted :P

Always park the other side near a bush or wall so the freshly painted side is always on show :L

Go to change my blown number plate bulb. Go to test it, find out I've blown the fuse! never simple on a mini is it! Sorted now though

Lol. Thank god for speaker cable and the broken fuse though. I've just created a fuse my self for the time been using the broken fuse and some cable.

Is that what they call, not a fuse?
I'd be cautious with that, if the fuse blew, there could be a short.

Went to the local scrappy get a clock for the Mini yesterday. Shame I couldn't walk around though. Also spotted a rather sad looking Mini that wasn't in bad nick. Wish I would have asked a price for it now.

Go back! :D I'm currently debating to save a Mini going to the scrappy, good nick on the back of a van near my mates house. Got 10" wellers, maybe a mk3?!

Fitted new boot seal yesterday only to find out it still leaks. what the hell! The boot is proper hard to close as well like it is properly sealed?
