Community Status Updates

Just found a 1978 50 Mills Cyprus coin, a penny and a Lee Cooper button down the back of some seats I have bought, whilst cleaning them.

Hooray, got my insurance renewal sorted. Was something like £560, I then changed a few of the mods from last year which put the price up to £600ish. I stated how I had received a quote of £550 and they straight up gave me £115 off to leave me with £490.20 for my second year of driving at 18 years old.

Rolling road session for 'Fenton' tomorrow. Interested to see what he makes.

Just finished watching the last episode of Breaking Bad. What the hell am I meant to do with my life now? I mean, I've pretty much served my purpose... But seriously, if you haven't already got Netflix sign up for a free trial - you won't regret it.

Got the new mini running - it's orange so I'm calling it Ron until I can think of a better name. Just needed new distributor cap and clean plugs, but also fitted new points, rotor arm, plug leads. Luckily these all came with the car! Ticks over beautifully :D

Just completed a game of Freecell in 1:38 secs. Is that good pr incredibly sad?

All is well with the new engine. (1014cc 12G940 head) Has a kind of hybrid 998/1275 throaty growl.

Had my third breakdown today. It was the coil this time. I'm slowly replacing everything that can go wrong on the car - sadly this means I'm nearing the next problem/thing I have to replace ;D

Absolutely appalled by the quality of driving I've observed over the past week. Had an old dear pull out on me yesterday while I was barreling towards her at 50mph. Today I was nearly T-boned on a mini roundabout by a woman in an A class. Managed to straddle the roundabout and come to a stop. She must have been less than an inch away from my passenger door, behind which IainStallard was sitting. (Probably **** himself...But I gave him a vice today so swings and roundabouts)
