I'm with rac but can't say I'm completally impressed. Used twice first time they took 4 days to get it back from Wales although we did have a courtesy car (which went in to limo mode!) second time they took 5 hours for a priority dangerous location (fast unlit country road and I had no lights.

Now thats an idea! Ill hire someone to set up a doughnut stand outside. That way, she will go out there and i can instruct the seller to keep gradually moving away so she never reaches the stand.

well if you see my rebuild thread, i have bought the back end of a cooper to split up for panels. By the time i was finished, i was just left with the rotten floor and rear arches. I'm looking after my mum's house at the moment and she said that she put her old washing machine out the front to arrange collection and when she looked a few minutes later it was gone so i thought why not?! Slung it out by the bins and this morning away it went. And yes i believe he was a pikey

I'd be careful using people like that if I were you, I had my boiler done not long ago, they asked the plumber for the boiler which they took, i came home just as they had my bike coming out the front garden and another one of them walking round my house! my bike got stolen a few weeks later..

it'l be ok. The scrap was out the front of the house and the only way to get into the rear is through a strong door in a high wall or through the house. Think he is just trying to make a few quid and i expect he is the same bloke who took scrap from here before. He seemed quite respectable and polite not the typical rough lot.
