Sold yours too? Regret selling my thirty, but it went to a mate as a project. Moving house isn’t cheap! :(

Does look very tidy, but incorrectly registered as a 1962 Austin & not a Scout so i wouldn't touch it.

It would be cheaper to buy a proper mini and just sleep in that instead. It is possible. I (and probably many others on here) have done it.

My friend has announced she is getting rid of her two lovely ragdoll cats because she would prefer a dog...is it me, or is that pretty heartless and shallow?

-
Ben_O
I do agree with that but if her and husband are dog people, they may well make better dog owners. Perhaps the cats were a mistake for them?
I just don't like to see animals potentially be mistreated by people who don't want them around

I agree Ben, Im a dog person meself...
If she can find a good home for the cats to rehome them with someone who would take care of them, as they should be cared for, then I think - as you do - that they could go to someone who would want them....

Update: - She decided to keep the cats and get a dog also. But one of the cats has now ran away (they are indoor cats)....she's heartbroken. Part of me feels a little bit of karma.

What's your opinions on this crazy clown craze what's storming UK at the moment?

At least the weirdos are dressing up now, easier to spot them :)
At least it has not gotten to the same state as in America

:-( Yea I must admit, if the news reports are to be believed then it is getting worse. Absolutely ridiculous... i don't get people!

I can probably beat you all when it comes to d***head landlords. I ended up building a kit car chassis in retaliation for the appalling service and treatment I got from my last one (some of you may remember the build thread before it got taken down). I did it to prove a point about the rights I had. I took him to small claims court afterwards and managed to win. He was that bad.

Mine just walks in, rings at stupid hours, left her belongings in most of house including her fridges in my porch that I pay for whilst I pay for storage per month because she says she will move them but doesn't. That isn't even half of it!! Grrrrr

Don't get me started on the unauthorised entry thing. I almost phoned the police on my landlord after one incident involving him letting himself in at 7am in the morning. Thank god I own my own house now. I like knowing I can walk around my house in just my boxers and that I'm safe to do so.

I have lenses that you can wear for up to 6 days continuous without removing them their comfortable too
Jul 07 2016 08:17 PM -

May need to try these but then again, I could completely forget about those too. At least the daily ones get uncomfortable after so long which is a reminder to take them out...haha

I leave mine in for up to 2 weeks. They're licensed for up to 4 weeks. I just find they get a bit ropey if you don't take them out about twice a week.

Really want to get back into photography... Anyone know where to get good reconditioned cameras?

-
MrBounce
I have always had good service from London Camera Exchange. Go for a good quality but older DSLR such as Canon or Nikon & you'll have endless choice. There's branches all over the UK. https://www.lcegroup.co.uk/Secondhand-Search/

Does anyone remember the sonic hedgehog cheat on the sega mega drive without looking it up?

-

No, the SNES was far superior. :) Super Mario World was CLEARLY the best game of that era.

Sonic wasn't particularly difficult. It was just long. Why bother with the cheats?

What's the country/world coming to? I've just read a third story in about a week about 13/14 year old killers. Scary stuff.

-

No doubt their identities will be hidden for the rest of their life at the taxpayers expense, just like the Bulger killers.

And they will only get a silly light sentence, due to their age. Probably 3-5 years each. :(
