My fob is new, board is new, battery is new. Only thing that's left is earth as it is a little corroded

Remove the earth cable and clean the area. before you put it back had a little Vaseline or something along those longs, to help keep the earth clean and rust free.

I get charge 2.92 for paying my bill, all because I refused a DD because they helped themselves

Nothing wrong with 3, I'm paying £11 for unlimited internet, 5000 texts and 200 minutes, and I get signal everywhere, and haven't had a problem with them

Three are hard to leave, they hassle you and all sorts! Or they did when I finished a contract with them :/ they are pretty cheap for Internet contacts though.

How to easily get black mastic stuff off my footwells? Garage painted it and someone must of drove it before drying and its all smudged etc.

-
Artful Dodger
If its still wet, thinners and a rag but if it's dry you have to peel it off. The garage should do it though that's their issue!

Stuff in, run it for 20 mins and then empty it again and put your good stuff in. It's what we do with some race engines

On what planet does a garage think they need to take my whole engine out to fit a clutch!!

-
ShaunaFTW
When your taking a car in to do a clutch I can see why they would think 'because your a woman'.
Mar 06 2014 01:04 PM -
sherly
Unfortunately it'll be difficult not to sound like you're telling them how to do their job....I've had it in the past with garages where I've asked for a job to be done a certain way - and it's certainly tricky. As for being a woman, it depends on who you're dealing with......there are still some old fashioned views out there (as a bloke I'm ashamed to say)!
Mar 06 2014 01:13 PM -
SecretSugar
I don't want to tell them how to do their job, you go to garages and trust them to fix your car but when they have the wrong ideas how to do something or wrong information, I will put my foot down and say they are wrong. It was like when they left my radiator rattling and I told them. All I got was "Why do you think its rattling?" and told them I personally saw and shook it. ARGHH!
