got some really good news yesterday at my surgical consult the date is set now the countdown to my rebuilt knee starts today 8 weeks and i will be under the knife

I've found a company that does a lovely set of wheels that I've never seen on a mini. There the correct pcd and everything but they don't ship outside the contintal usa. Basically I'm looking someone who would send me the wheels and take a small fee for there time and trouble

They're*. Depends what you want out of the car. I've just ordered a set of 13x7 ultralites as I love the look, grip is massively improved with the wider wheels although some say you lose the feel.

I suppose the only problem i've had is the wheels rub on my wide arches when I reverse at full lock. Doesn't matter that much.
But they do look a lot better in my opinion.

Keep yer chin up mate - no matter what he says, just think to yourself that you will beat it and enjoy life no matter what is thrown at you. I had a good mate who was badly burned at 17 and a half on the Sir Galahad in the Falklands War (same ward etc as Simon Weston), fella lived life to the full.

Apart from the hinges I can't see any major differences in the doors and there is a turbo mini in mini mag
