You may be able to remove the wings leaving the front panel in place but only IF the joins are sound and the original spot welds are in place. You would need to carefully drill out all of the spot welds and gently tease the wing off. The only place where you will struggle is the wing to front panel join as they are spot welded from behind. I would expect not to be able to get them off in one piece however so be prepared

They delivered an exhaust to my house and literally dropped it on the drive. They claim they left it with a neighbour who must have left it there which is bull****. I saw the delivery driver with his head phones in Drop it there. I was under my car in the pit and couldn't get out in time to take the exhaust off him and he didn't hear me yell at him due to his head phones. They also left about £120 worth of mini panels 4 doors down my road at the wrong address without a signature...

Whatever you choose, get heavy duty. Never had a problem with Exide meself. On 2nd battery in 17 years.

Joking aside, I had an exile battery, it was amazing, could start a lorry that has been sat for ages with no trouble ! This is the one I had, never used it on my mini though(still restoring), it has gel inside so it doesn't leak ! Which is always a benefit http://www.vartacarbatteries.com/index.php/em1000-exide-battery-orbital-st-12v-050ah-9-81-b7.html

Yep every mini will have it. You do need to put more on when you refit the window regulator or it will leak. There was a thread detailing this not too long ago.
