Engine bay stripped and in the body shop, engine built & far too much money spent with DSN. Hopefully it'll all be up and running for MITP. Fingers crossed!! lol

If it helps, it's not year specific except for the knuckle joint (if it's a sportspack). You should be able to source it no problem :)

Brand new ones are £535.00 each, reconditioning of a rotten one costs around half that.

Gearbox is buggered! Sort of pleased though, because finally it can go off to GuessWorks for a refresh :D

how did it go?

@Midas Mk1: Its not just a new gearbox, this price includes all labour and GuessWorks' engine refresh service.
@Noah, yeah thats what I was thinking! What do you reckon I should put in? Its all very well it being good for motorway journeys, but that's not what Mini's are for!
@anthonysjb, just leaving a roundabout, go to put it in second gear and an almighty CRUNCH. Now 1st 2nd and 3rd crunches.

ah nice, I like the older face version, something about the facelift ones doesn't appeal to me

Do you mean the 2013 versions?.. They seem too sharp to me, think I'm going for something like 07-09... Know anybody who is interested in buying a Mini haha ;)?

Yes, personally I'm not keen on the 2013 ones. Yeah they're the nicer looking ones IMO, a mate of mine has an M sport 59 plate one in Black, nice looking cars. Haha na sorry :(

Fuel filter changed, to see if it fixed my hesitation problem when cold, jeeeze the old one was gummed up!

I found that the diesel car would stall in slow moving traffic or whenever the revs were low. Changed the filter and it was much better.

Mine was incredibly hesitant when cold however once it had warmed up and was off choke, it ran perfect. Very strange
