Well first breakdown in the mini :/ Managed to get home though after two bump starts and only my headlights working. On the upside my interior light started to work for the first time since owning it -.-

    I've got the chance if getting a BMW apprenticeship at Hams hall (hour away) so might take the mini off the road and buy a cheap 106 or fiesta for the travel and make the mini nicer.. Time will tell

    Had a guy pm me about a project I have - he signed onto the forum that day and was fishing for locations. Beware !! There should be somewhere on the forum that we can log their userid's (by the way he was logged as stoneb09)

    Agreed. I'm fortunate to be able to keep mine in a garage, a friend had his pinched a few years back, they removed the rear window and claimed in that way to open the doors and hotwire it. Seems like a lot of work but its could to know some thieves are considerate enough not to damage the property they steal

    Its not really the gear box thats noise as its submerged in oil its the drop gears that make all the noise :)
