Agreed. I'm fortunate to be able to keep mine in a garage, a friend had his pinched a few years back, they removed the rear window and claimed in that way to open the doors and hotwire it. Seems like a lot of work but its could to know some thieves are considerate enough not to damage the property they steal

Its not really the gear box thats noise as its submerged in oil its the drop gears that make all the noise :)

i dont really have any spares for it really anything i needed for it went straight on the car..and in any case i may just leave it off the road till i can get an apprenticeship which i've applied for many or a job

well we don't have sorn in ireland but it'll be kept on my property until i can hopefully get some money together to get it fixed dude!! I would never have sold i anyway i'm in the process of setting up the ypunger mini owners community with my mate so i have commitments and lets face we all love minis why else would we be here after all :)
