tried to remove it took carb off and alternator the rad is a nightmare all the bolts rounded off and dont know where to start unbolting the subframe

Undo the single bolt at the bottom of the rad, it lifts straight out.

Dropped the mini off at the garage for a bit of tlc. Picked up bargain wheels won on ebay. Just need the car back now to put them on.

Put them in a bucket of nice boiling water, or use a heat gun when you fit it :D not too much though, you can melt them. I think the Rover ones fit best, it's best to use the original stuff isn't it.

Yeah the Rover stuff clibs on and fits really nice... I binned the chrome stuff that was on mine because it didn't fit well and looked crap :L
