Someone asked for it but looking at where it sits it takes up a bit too much room really.

Engine not turning over very quickly/not turning over at all, Solenoid clicking 90% of the time while starting (or trying to).. Yet the battery still has 12.5v in it. Had it on charge over night - Turning over much quicker but the Solenoid still clicks.. Confused.. Any ideas?

OK, so its likely to be the starter that's at fault, you think?

This is strange.. Had the above issues last week. It died on the weekend (prompting me to put the status), stuck a battery charger on it over Sunday night & it started with some difficulty this morning. Just took the car out this afternoon (with a chase car), several stops to see what it was like & there was no problems starting. The solenoid only clicked once, on one of the half dozen starts... Its booked in with the garage for Thursday, so I'll see what they say.. >.<

I think the problem comes with trying to link the older Smiths type gauges with the later MPi Nippon Seiki ones. Although I'm also curious as I've never seen an MPi with a Smiths Cooper S centre binnacle

The oil pressure gauge is fine as its just a pipe, the water temp is fine too, its electric and the signal is the same as the current one between the speedo and tach. The rest is just rewiring :) But MPIs had a solid bulkhead so it would need to be cut, not surgery Im willing lol.
