If it gets there. I'm hoping it's because it's not timed right it's not getting the right mixture also. Rolling road at 10 so fingers crossed Damian makes it there.

Can anyone provide me with clear directions on where to find my horn relay on my 1997 Rover SPI?

Currently on a touring caravan holiday. On Tuesday after buying new rear springs, trolley jack & tools I will be changing out a broken rear spring on my Vauxhall Insignia in a Halfords car park somewhere in Cornwall. Hope it doesn't rain. Anyone see Roadkill episode 4 El Camino engine swap? It's like a zillion miles away from Yorkshire !!!

Could possibly use a pait of spring assisters to jelp the rear springs out when the caravan is on the back .... Worked wonders on my Omega :)

Roadkill spring change completed in eurocarparts car park because it was more solid & level than Halfords, all ok & didn't get barfed on by a dog !!!

Is it worth notifying the DVLA about an engine change? Seems to be mixed opinions about this.

-
Gerbil367
The problem is that not declaring it gives your insurance a perfect get out clause not to pay out if anything happens. I changed mine - all I needed for DVLA was a letter from a garage to confirm the engine change (and size) and a few photos (engine number) and it was done no problems - unless they have become even more anal these days (mine was 3 yrs ago)

yep not your problem when ya dead, that don't matter until ya survive or the other person lives and they have all cost's declined by your insurance as you couldn't/wouldn't afford to do it propa

Phoebe made a break for freedom. You will not outrun me. :) She made good use of the fence gaps though.

Wish I could afford a Elmer Racing 8 port cylinder head for my 998. :/

-
Vinay-RS
1700 euros for a cylinder head!? Wow, that's quite a lot.

Yep. You don't need to modify the block, or so they claim.

What kind of performance gains will your motor get from using it?
