I've used deox gel and hydrate 80 before and both were good. Hydrate 80's really good, just a much better Kurust

Yep! Used the dynax cavity wax s80 i think its called, really good. Goes a very long way to.
Not actually owned any cars i've used it on long enough to test it properly though.
The smell takes a long time to go when you use it internally!

ahhhhhhhh i've seen them before and woundered where they come from. Look good, would suit a mini well.. i suppose you will have to drill ne holes in your door card and door to fit them?
Dec 02 2012 06:16 PM -

They look a lot classier than the standard Mini ones IMO. Have been looking for a set for ages since seeing them on my mates magazine featured car. I believe they just use the standard holes in the door cards as they were also fitted to the Innocenti :)

There is no such thing as 'pear cider'. Its called perry. Lambrini is perry. So whilst gulping your 'Strongbow pear' just remember lads: Lambrini girls just want to have fun.

To be honest, I'm not bothered what it is, I drink it because it's nice =]

I can confirm that Lambrini Is bought in essex because its cheap and girls seem to think its wine... They must of drunk a fair few bottles to think that.

lol, the drill :P just looked at prices for new corded drills on screwfix... wow!
Dec 02 2012 01:35 PM -

Nice price ain't they;). Maybe splash out and get a cordless one? Worth the money IMO. So much easier to use and get into tighter spaces! Don't have to use a chuck key as well!

Already got several cordless ones, and agree they are useful but the corded one was just easier (dont have to recharge etc) It's dads drill aswell, so that makes it worse! Hopefully he might be able to get a new one through his company, otherwise im going to have to splash out!

how do you use the standard rover mini car jack?.. I don't have access to any other tools just need to change the front left... please help!
Dec 02 2012 12:05 PM

Artful Dodger
The tiny little stubby but goes in the hole / jacking point in the sill. If its a rusty car you will damage it, and it may even fall of. Use with extreme care! Put something under the car when it's jacked up, doesn't matter what it is, wood, tyre, bricks (under subframe). Good luck! Don't just wind it up, listen / watch for sill / inner sill movement and cracking sounds

Stay the fudge away, leave it. Go too your nearest halfords and get a Scissor jack anything, just stay away from that.
Dec 02 2012 02:05 PM -

thanks for the replys guys, I didn't feel that comfortable in using it, so called out breakdown cover company to change it instead, I'll have to invest in a Scissor jack!.
