Amazon fire stick. What a waste of time. I was offered one with my internet for free so thought why not. It doesn't offer anymore than my smart TV already does. You still have to pay for what you watch. I'm glad I didn't buy it like some people will have done.

Just squeezed in the most petrol I've ever put in my car... £31 which is 27 litres of V-Power. Inaccurate fuel gauges aren't very helpful!

Yay. I filled mine with v power. It seemed to run better on v power, but maybee that's because it was set-up with that particular petrol.

Mine is only a standard 1275 SPi, but I have always used V-Power fuel. I don't do that many miles to worry about the cost, and it puts my mind at rest that it's decent petrol going through my car. Only other fuel I've used since passing my test was Tesco Momentum 99 but that was only because a Shell branch wasn't closeby! (I didn't notice a difference though)

At one point I was only doing 6 miles per day, to work and back, so only needed to fill up every week or week and a half. :) I travel around 6 miles to work now, and find the traffic annoying. I would rather work closer to home to be honest.

Got to love ebay! Yet another time waster who keeps making requests after they have purchase one of my items. Now they claim they have made a mistake and that it doesn't fir their car, can they have their money back. Err... No. I have no obligations to give refunds for incorrectly purchase items.

-

I'm very aware of it. I've already informed ebay, paypal and my courier of the situation so if the item arrives "damaged", they should treat it with suspicion.

You haven't sent it yet? Just refund it is so easy, sell it to someone else.

R1 mini its been sent. I know its a risk but I have beaten people like this before and on many occasions unfortunately. Postage had been sorted out before the buyer messaged me which was why I refused the refund and the change in postage method.

It's recently had a lot of work done. I'm not looking for a show car, just a daily driver.

MINI WILL
Hi guys I’ve seen a 1979 mini clubman that I might buy on eBay but its missing the commission number plate (the red one) that should be on the slam panel is this important as the seller does not have it. Any help will be great thanks =)

That car's certainly been changed a bit from standard - early 80s Mayfair interior, late Cooper wheels (possibly brakes too) and an 80s Metro lump. I am not convinced that that colour was a '79 shade either (could've been resprayed). If it's originality you want, then it's not the car for you! As stated above though, the missing tag could just be something that's gone missing over the years. It's worth a look as you're not too far away - if there's anyt...

...anything you're not sure about, walk away. It does look a bit expensive for what it is though.

Thanks I went and had a quick look and it’s got rust in nearly all of the panels - around the roof in the rear quarters by the radius arms, bonnet, A panel, boot hinge panel, so the search will go on thanks for your help much appreciated

Looking at getting my spare MPi block rebored, new cam bearings, and worked crank. Who would be suggest that would do it in a reasonable lead time, and not cost the earth?

-
Fast Ivan
Ac Dodd for the block work, around 130 for next size up, and cam bearings, he'll need your pistons. He can also get your crank ground but longer lead time

8.4" but the parts I have are the same for both, you need some other stuff for drums.

Wish now I had ordered a new loom before taking the old one out. 10 week wait for new one to be made is frustrating!

And if you need 7.5" brakes I have them to go with the wheels :)
