Feeling old and pretty p'd off. After breaking a tooth they can't fix it and the only feasible option is dentures. Where's my bus pass??

could an endodonist not help? My other half was in a similar boat and the endodontist in Portsmouth sorted it so she had a white square peg and then her dentist installed a crown on it. http://chrisemeryendodontics.co.uk/root-canal-therapy/

I have according to my dentist got "tiny teeth". There's not enough of the tooth left to fix the crown to Ben. I have a post in another tooth the other side and that's been solid for 10 years. You can't fix a peg to nothing. Wish I could just weld it up instead :D

I just thought it might help because she is exactly the same, small teeth and hardly any root left. One peg and one gold crown later and all is well.

Anyone have any ideas why one of my front wheels is difficult to rotate and the other rotates freely? Its not the brakes, or cv joints/knuckles. It seems to be diff related. Feels like it might be dragging?

I take it that the rebound rubber is fitted and doing it's job? Without it the driveshaft can drag on the subframe.

Not the rebound no

I take it you had both wheels off the ground when you rotated each wheel?
Assuming the resistance of the more difficult wheel is enough to prevent it from moving, then when you turn the easy wheel, it will cause the entire diff/final drive to rotate.
On the other hand, when you turn the difficult wheel, the planetary bevel gears will rotate, the diff may not, and you may have seen that the easy wheel rotated the opposite direction?
I think it's unlikely to be the di...

My father keeps putting an oil drip tray under the car when I park it on the drive for the 2 black dots of oil you get every 24 hours. I pulled off without knowing and it got stuck between my wheel and arch, and cracked the arch!! Not a happy start to my day...

My dad did the same thing when I had my first mini. Which is why I moved out as soon as I could lol

My plan exactly, haha. He's the sort of person who will now complain about his flattened tray! Nevermind my bloody car!

I've done a fair bit of wiring in the past, I got an iron, holder and flux from Amazon. It wasn't very expensive but has served me well!

I have looked at a few minis recently, and some have good(ish) bodies with work needed on engines, and some have bad bodies but great engines? Which would you pick?
