anyone good with engines fairly new to mini buisness i am buying a block with gearbox sunday is to be said out of a austin 1300 and either is a austin 1300gt engine or a innocenti engine number is to be said (12g1279)and is a 11 stud also has been bored to 1380 is there much difference to my engine which is a sprite 1275 a series many thanks nico

linking my microshaft account with everything. Turns out my backup e-mail (which i now need to access to confirm my identity to the screwing b****** is no longer in use so i've had it. I changed the security but it will take a while for them to review it and sort it so i get nagging messages every 5 mins about it

Does Supreme Unleaded do any more good to an old engine than regular? I work at a petrol station and every single classic car that comes in fills up with Supreme.

It just makes me happy to run mine on V-Power and avoid supermarket fuel as I know I'm giving my engine half decent fuel and not gumming it up with crap

Using cheap fuel, especially diesel, from petrol stations can cause problems. Stick to the best Shell petrol/diesel available. :)
