auto cars definitely help when sitting in traffic

They are just dearer to insurer and use more fuel. I must admit though, i do miss having an auto sometimes. I've had two, both cruising cars and you just waft along effortlessly munching up the miles :)

and good for traffic cause you don't need to keep using a clutch and changing gears.

Last lecture for the week. Exams around the corner. Will be my last set of individual papers.....ever!!!!

-
Vinay-RS
And the board exams? :)

Apologies for the late response, have had my head stuck in the books. Board exams for SAICA at least are integrated papers. So we write 4 papers 100 marks each. 2 papers per day over 2 consecutive days (Usually wednesday & Thursday). But the 100 marks could be a combination of any of the four subjects. Some papers have been know to have three of the 4 subjects in a single paper. But ja, I'll deal with that when I get there.

Feel like doing something for charity involving the Mini. Don't know what though.

It because the seal is new and obviously at this point in its life harder to compress. You can move your B pillar catch slightly to take this into consideration. As the seal compresses with age you can then reposition the latch

I just slammed mine shut (but mine weren't overly tight)

Might be worth checking you have it pushed on correctly all the way round. I tried the door seal on my resto project and the door wouldn't shut. Turned out it wasn't fitted correctly at the front end of the door. It still needs a good slam but i'm sure it's just due to new rubbers that need settling in

A man walks into a zoo. The only animal in the entire zoo is a dog. It's a shih tzu.

I have found a model shop in New Zealand, with 1 Traxxas monster buggy 'body and cage top' in stock. :)

My neighbours don't seem to winge. I've used mine on the, 'private officer', road outside my house, but go to a local huge park to run them 'properly'. Elecric models are good for shutting up the winging neighbours, but so is gaffer tape. haha.

Hence why I've now stuck with the electric ones even if they aren't as much fun as a nitro engine screaming its head off. Plus the other bouns is I don't need to drive 20 miles to the nearest model shop for fuel.
But I have been on the look out for a tl01b roller as it shares a lot of parts and spares I already have, But even beatern up ones go fro stupid prices (probably bumped up)on eBay.

Mini covered just over 400 miles in a day (about 25 of them with the boot hanging open so if anyone finds a picnic basket on the M4, it's mine).

-
RooBoonix
Well due to the lack of picnic food, you clearly hadn't fed your right foot enough ;)

I think the 2 lardy friends and me, plus the shedload of food I was carrying may have actually played a part. Poor Mini didn't know what had hit it.

Was such a shame to see so many minis broken down or being recovered last night but hell it made me realise how bloody well Violet drives. Another 11 hours of faultless driving.
