Had some random guy earlier ask the mgp of the mini, only to then say it was **** compared to the 60mpg from his fiesta ecoboost. It may well be, but then the mini is 30 years old and certainly didn't cost me 17k to buy in the first place.

For a daily driver around 40 MPG should stop your bank manager giving you ear ache. :) You can't put a figure on style and class anyhoo!

my focus ecoboost manages 46mpg combined; not far off my mini. The only difference is that Ford claims over 60mpg combined.

I've used the Fuel Buddy app religiously for 6 months, never got over 34 mpg in my 1293 clubby estate.

Don't k ow why I bother sometimes. spend over an hour replacing the heater cable to then put it all back, pull the knob to check it works and it comes off in my hand!!!! So contact heat for the time being.

Mini started fine all over the weekend. Today - nothing. Totally dead. No ignition lights - zero. No obvious reason but probably the battery. Don't you just love the complete lack of warnings from a Mini ...

Linkoln BIG mini day today in the metro, spent 4 hours show prepping it, went down there with other from LnL moc, got to the gate, sadly the metro was not aloud in, i accept its not fully a mini and shouldn't expect to get in so parked in a (rip off) multistory. Walk into the show to find an old landrover (all be a very nice on).... now that is a weird looking mini :P not that im bitter, and i do appreciate the effort it take to organised an event like this. That hiccup aside, a good show...

I arrived late due to the A57 to A1 slip road being closed. We got diverted through Newark but hit traffic for around 1 hour! got to Lincoln and they wouldn't open the gates for just 2 minis. Safe to say i was pissed off with the way he spoke to me too, saying i should have got here earlier! Nearly wrapped a spanner around his head.

I have told Damian that moomin having a cleaned engine and thats it as Pingu engine is getting VERY close to 3k maybe will even top that!!! Getting little frustrated -_-
