Sounds about right. I still maintain my mini was the best car I have had in snow.

Now I’ve started up, checked over and warmed up the mini after being sat outside (still frosty) for the last 3 weeks unused, I now need to warm myself back up.

What did you do before you left it sitting? Did you disconnect the battery?

Absolutely nothing, just parked up and left, not even a cover

Lucky you. Mine always starts up but is always under shelter - last night was her first night outside in a while and a rather frosty one haha

Had to push my 2 tonne Westminster down the road to get it started after all the snow, that was a ballache

Oh yeah then that is not bad then. Would be worth checking, especially if it isn't too expensive and there may be an improvement in the performance.

Well it had a slight valve leak anyway as smoked on start up, so going to be changing the valves while its off. Might look on ebay or around for a better head to put on it. The tax runs out Wednesday aswell so might just sorn it for the time being

had to google what sorn meant, lol

Wiring.... Let me think.... Errr.... Think I have some washing to do that is very very urgent ;-)
I do not envy you... I can handle anything on a mini apart from wiring

Haha in that case the floor needs welding too and oversills coming off and any damage repairing ;) haha I shan't be doing the work - not nearly smart enough haha a local garage will end up doing it.

O crap.... What I have I got myself into now!
Prepare for the worst when the over sills come off..... The sound only mechanics makes when he is about to pull your pants down... Pouting there lips and sucking air in while cleaning there hands on a old rag (remove the rag and they are just rubbing there hands together)

I assume you are on about a New Mini as the classics didn't have a spoiler from the factory. If if is a new mini then try the MINI2 forum. They will probably be able to give you better advise.

Any ideas on roughly how much it would cost to swap tyres from alloys to steels? I would do it myself at work, but my boss doesn't have a day off for a while...
Dec 28 2014 01:19 PM

Domneon
Yeah my boss is the biggest of knobs going. I know exactly what he will say, and anyway I'm not in work for a while. If you worked for him, you would realize how much a knob he is. Noone in the company is even attempting to save his job, which says something as we are the tech centre for PSA across the road from the head office. He goes mad at you if you bring you car in to take your own tools home.

Wow I'd end up getting fired very quickly then if I worked for him lol

He's also just got our valeter fired even though the guy was 110% efficient
