Went in a Bini for the first time tho other day, I hate to say it was rather nice and had a rather pleasing exhaust note too O_o

They get under your skin, my clubman s has such a sweet noise from up front and the rear when pushing it hard. Its even better whenwhen he exhaust pops!

I really like the clubby, If I got one it would have to be at least a cooper though, they just look so much better

not quite :P just who ever designed my 3rd brake light designed the bulbs to be pushed through from the back, hence the larger leds don't even fit. the only way I can get them to fit would be to glue them in place in the holders and then solder them together.

That is less that ideal. Surely they were designed for a mini? I am not a fan of having to glue things into place that aren't supposed to need glue.

the 3rd brake light unit (universal aftermarket one) and led bulbs weren't designed for a mini. But then it wouldn't have been a problem if the bulb holders had been designed properly.

If you google search the part number (with no spaces) then their site says they have one. But I can't find it on there. But if you call/email with the part number, they may have it

If you had a sunroof it would be like a shower :p
I know a guy who fitted the washers onto his boot so he could spray water at people who tailgated him. Called it his anti bullying sprayer or something :)

carnt find a heater resistor or the oil temp transducer for my mpi mini anywhere!!,

-

Try ringing Somerford Mini, they don't always list everything they have on their website but they tend to have a lot of random late model parts.

The oil temp sender hasn't been available for a while. The last place that I remember having any was Little Car Company in Holland, try them.

Ben, I've been reading your thread and I have to say your work is brilliant! Just by asking around I've heard Magnum panels are hit and miss with some areas, so chin up buddy. It's going to be lovely when finished.

Cheers. Just found out that the hinge panel i have is designed to fit onto the outside of the a post in the actual shut as a repair piece. that explains the huge gap! Phew! Proper one being ordered tomorrow.
