I know exactly where the receipt is for my vectra's battery is. In the folder allocated to all my Vectra's paper work. I can find any receipt for anything I bought for my mini as well as they are in it's dedicated folder. And women say men are untidy. Pffft...

I started a folder of everything I have bought for my mini. Figured at some point it would be useful.

Some *U**s burgured my great Auntys house. She was only out one evening. So cheesed off!

They're just total scumbags that do stuff like that. Makes you so angry. Call the local pawn shops in case they try and off load it there. And e-bay.

My aunt got burgled in the 90's they took everything, even used the kids duvet covers to put the things they stole in. They waited a few weeks until the insurance paid out and they replaced their things and then burgled them again. They are scum

Will keep an eye on the shops, and I've heard that that they like to come back for the replaced items, but I don't think my aunts going to be replacing much of it.

For the first time since driving my car finally has automatically disabling indiactors after I took the part from my donor car. You know you're into classics when that feels like a luxury extra!

I bought a couple of the Thomar ones for my Golf when it developed a leak in the boot. Put one on the parcel shelt and one on the dash. Worked great. You'll need 2 as one will be drying as the other is soaking it up http://www.amazon.co.uk/ThoMar-604-110-Re-Usable-Twin-Dehumidifier/dp/B00A6TKSXE/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1416934980&sr=1-2&keywords=thomar

Not on my account you won't! If lots of people change their mind then fair enough. I really want to come but Money is being swallowed up quicker than I can make it and now have vet bills too as well as the impending doom of Christmas. I will do my best though, i have really been looking forward to it

On the hunt for a new classic mini, ideally clubman, ideally 1275gt, but am finding these to be a rare beast :/

Will have to go on another run out when you get one James! Takes ages to find the right one, took me about a year to find my second! Did you get your Mini back from the insurance company?

They get under your skin, my clubman s has such a sweet noise from up front and the rear when pushing it hard. Its even better whenwhen he exhaust pops!

not quite :P just who ever designed my 3rd brake light designed the bulbs to be pushed through from the back, hence the larger leds don't even fit. the only way I can get them to fit would be to glue them in place in the holders and then solder them together.
Nov 24 2014 11:46 PM -
Vinay-RS
That is less that ideal. Surely they were designed for a mini? I am not a fan of having to glue things into place that aren't supposed to need glue.
Nov 25 2014 05:19 AM -

the 3rd brake light unit (universal aftermarket one) and led bulbs weren't designed for a mini. But then it wouldn't have been a problem if the bulb holders had been designed properly.
