Definitely too much. Have a look at optimise Automotive, they did me a fake suede one for a really good price.

Unfortunately she failed, but nothing major! Failed on excessive wheel bearing movement ( knew about thia wasnt sure if advisorie or fail, i know the tester so he is doing this cheap for me) emissions (whih tester has sorted) indicator on speedo doesn't work, brake hose inadequatly clipped and one subframe clip had popped out hole oh and number plate light didn't work. So not bad really

Debating whether to make a new permanent 12v feed from the solenoid for my alarm or whether to piggyback off the standard loom... Suggestions?

A new separate fuse live direct from the solenoid would be best and most reliable option.

I thought that. Might get one of those fused distribution boards to split it and fuse each connection. Then any earths on the screws fixing it down. Keeps it all neat and in one piece then :D

I had to phone them recently and got through to an actual person. No offence to anyone living there but, the woman was very broad Liverpudlian and I couldn't understand a word she said. Actually thought a recording would've been better :-D

The 03's are pretty much Mini anyway, as Rover designed the earlier ones. It's only the engine that is different. (Should really be a K-series)

I spoke with the first owner and he saw 240 bhp with some work and a different manifold! It's back standard now at around 200 bhp. More than enough I think.

WD40 got its name from Water Displacement and it was perfected on the 40th try. Learn something new every day!

We will be trading at Stanford Hall (near Lutterworth) on Sunday at the National Mini Owners Club event - it's the last major outdoor Mini show of the year and the weather forecast looks brilliant, so get yourself along!!
