Midas Mk1
Managed to drop my spanner (whilst holding it) onto the live nut on the starter motor. Que sparks, and now my anxiety / paranoia is kicking in about the shock! Argh :(

I did something similar being careless tightening the nut on the battery of my E30, touched both terminals - made me jump a bit (and swear a lot!!)

the wire to the middle pin on my alternator plug was melted off and not attached, would this have been the reason it wasn't charging my battery?

if a wire on a mini wasn't needed for something. there's pretty high chances it wouldn't be fitted in the first place.

Seen an elderly lady driving a prefix V reg mpi cooper sports pack today. We pulled into a carpark together and had a little chat. Although the doors had gone at the bottom, it was gorgeous. Shame I didn't have my phone to take a picture of them parked side by side.

Oil changed and new filter, new exhaust studs to fix the leak also solved the air leak problem :) But the list goes on...

I'll take it fella don't bother with the freebees. Let me know if you need some beer tokens for it. I'll obviously cover postage and bung you a couple of quid too.

Ah, just looked at the Hella 500 and it is bottom mounted, was after a rear mount. I'll skip this if anyone else wants it.
