Bits that have lasted 25, 26, 27 years get replaced, and the new bits only last 25, 26, 27 MONTHS, if you are lucky. Somebody's making money somewhere!

Minispares do their best to manufacture parts to original spec but lower volumes now mean most big component manufacturers are no longer interested. Therefore price goes up or quality comes down to compensate....or in worst case both!

Decided to read the travel advice about Japan. Nothing surprising, risk of typhoons, earthquakes, Godzilla, etc. Then I Google travel advice for the UK. Holy Hell do we sound like an unsafe place compared to other countries.

I'm trying to teach myself a small amount of Japanese before my trip in may and for someone who's worst GCSE was German it might be a bit of tall order. Incase anyone was wondering my second worse was English.
