Damm the BBC! They've cancelled robot wars again. Anyone want to buy a wheel chair chassis and a pair of motor controllers. I've suddenly ended up with a spare set.

Bits that have lasted 25, 26, 27 years get replaced, and the new bits only last 25, 26, 27 MONTHS, if you are lucky. Somebody's making money somewhere!

Minispares do their best to manufacture parts to original spec but lower volumes now mean most big component manufacturers are no longer interested. Therefore price goes up or quality comes down to compensate....or in worst case both!

Decided to read the travel advice about Japan. Nothing surprising, risk of typhoons, earthquakes, Godzilla, etc. Then I Google travel advice for the UK. Holy Hell do we sound like an unsafe place compared to other countries.
