Looked at a nice Land Rover Disco today, needs a little tidying on the rear bumper but may go for it. A diesel v6 sounds decent

Do electronic ignition conversion kits work with ballast coil systems?
Apr 18 2014 10:23 PM

pmplovesminis2006
no ballast it has to be a 12v coil and supply

I have run electronic ignition on my car and that was ballast ignition.....

I've looked a bit more into it and as far as I can tell they work with a ballast coil if you make a separate feed to the sensor unit. Worth a try I suppose.
