My local MOT tester claimed that the engines can be a bit iffy ....and he was a Audi nut, claimed the lower HP on (170?)was more reliable?

Had one, endless problems with the engine to which i finally suffered oil starvation which is caused by oil pump failure in the sump. Both my mates also had one to which they had nothing but trouble with them too.

Working on a class 1 Capri race car that's just been 'built'. Must have been some by blind asthmatic old men, because this is appalling. Dangerous!

No someone who hasn't played with cars before built this! Not good at all. Still got worn out old rubber bushes in all the suspension!

I have a 1995 Auto Mini. Am looking to put a MG Metro Engine, box and running gear into a Mark 1. Have the MG Metro (running) but need to know if its possible. From looking at posts the gearbox tunnel and possition may have to be moved on mk1 body. What do I need to consider to do this.

My car must spend all its life in a garage being fixed XD ive reluctantly handed over my to do list to my mini specialist garage and admited that im never going to get around to it. So MOT, Service, HiLow, and 14 other mods and fixes. Expecting it back on thursday, CANT WAIT! gunna feel like a whole new car with most of its niggles and impracticalities fixed :D
