Finally finished my oil change on the Vectra after 5 days. The previous a**hole who serviced it must have put the sump plug in with an air wrench

Don't I know it. Both the sump plug and oil filter on the Discovery must have been done up to 5000 lb/ft by the last owner.

In the end I had to drill a hole through it, flush the sump and use a stud extractor

yeh saw it online, just needed it local so i could go get it and leave it to soak over night, so i can attack it tomorrow haha. hope this halfords equivalent works

Exhaust and brake light changed on the fiesta for Mot, carb stripped down on mini, now it revs, distributor cap fixed securely, alternator belt tightened and colour tuned again. Good amount done today.
