1300! The cheapest I can get is double that! The joys of having a Cooper. Kind of wish I'd gone for a BOC now. I'll probably fit a Webasto as soon as I can afford one anyway.

I'd love a 998, I prefer the sound and having to floor it on the hilly roads on the way to 6th form. Anything with a carb really, easier to tune

My road is closed tonight as it is being used as a rally stage for a classic car rally. I am sitting on my window sill watching the cars go past. It might have been an idea to roll my car back a bit further from the road though.

It was part of a car club. I wouldn't have said any of the cars were really that much of a classic. I think the oldest I saw was around a 1980's capri. Most were 205's and xri escorts. I did see one of my neighbours go the other direction down the road during the rally so I don't know if they met anyone coming the other way. We were all notified weeks ago and there are signs up so its not like we didn't know.

Old people on mobility scooters should not be permitted to be on the road, one sung out on me, had to swerve quickly, caused me to 180 spin and bang into a bank. Now having to get the planishing hammers out and knock out the dents in my A panel and wing.=[

My 3 year old nephew was run over yesterday in Asda by a huge woman on a scooter, My sister had to scream at her to release the handlebars as the woman on the scooter carried on running over him by this time the poor kids was on the floor with the scooter pinning him to the ground, Asda didn't want to know as it wasn't one of there scooters that the lady was riding. They are especially a danger when them in control haven't a clue what they are doing with them.

Also I had a guy on one run into a load of toilet roll that I had stacked up around a pillar. When I came round the corner and found them all over the floor he claimed that they had just fallen over. The fact that there were about 7 packs stuck on the basket on the back of his mobility scooter and there was a nice mobility scooter shape dent in the display where he had obviously backed into them was apparently just a coincidence.
