Took me 3hrs to do a master and slave today. Its not a nice job at all. I ended up up getting a wrecking bar on the master just to get to the rear nut!!

oh no that's not good. I was only gunna replace mine because it looked like it might brake. think i'll leave it to brake now haha.

why? iv been looking at carbon and fibreglass lids. was gunna go double but was unsure until now lol

Get a double skin, they're a lot more rigid and will hold their shape a lot better. Mine keeps flexing and not sealing. I'm not wanting to put pins on it or any external locking mechanism. Ah well, was only a tenner.

Low on petrol + idiot drivers + diversions to backroads where deer run out + thin brakes + late night driving = mini roulette! Glad that drive is over and done with!

I love it all the while I'm building it and bolting new shiny parts on etc. but then I hate it at the end of the month when my bank balance comes through the door.

Ah Yeah for a daily drive it's no been used since may lots of problems like no gaskets on the diff so big oil lwaks, lots of electric issues and then being kicked out if my garage with the engine out itall adds up
