I was hungry earlier, but then I made lasagne. I am now the size of a house.

Get to the train station and realise I dont have my wallet. Now missed my lecture :/ This may be down to a weekend binge on rattler and vodka, finished with The Darkness.

Lucky for me I worked hard at school, college and university so I am now the head of my department (by default really) and I am doing a lot better than about half of the people who were in my year at school. Also someone once told me that work was harder than university. Err not if you are an engineer. The people who tell you that university is easy are either failing or never went.

I really enjoyed Mini Day at Castle Combe, it has to be one of the best Mini events in my book!

If you remove the valves from a head, is it essential that they are re-ground etc when re-installed or can they just be cleaned then re-installed?

minimadles
Decoke, check and relap them in is the best way forward

Got rid of the majority of the carbon and the exhaust valves are rather pitted which means the seats are probably knackered too - may as well install unleaded ones haha

Yes unleaded is the way to go if the head is later than about 1988 it will have hard valve seat inserts already and may be possible to reclaimed the valves by having them refaced
