My mechanic replaced my wheel bearing around 3k miles ago. The front right one has failed already. Shouldn't they last longer than that?

Depends on 3 thing, fitment, hub wear, quality of the bearing and grease. Cheap bearings have the wrong side spacer, making them collapse. Wrong grease will make them go dry and accelerate wear.

Then theres the curse of the front right wheel, 90% of the bearings i replaced in different minis, are front right ones..weird.

Yeah there miles better I use the Autoglym Hi-Tech Drying Towel from Halfords can’t fault it, it works great! =) What one have you gone for?
