Could I use NGK BP6E plugs in my SPI if i have resistive leads? Or should I stick to BPR6ES plugs?

if the carb is fitted it'll be fine.. apparently it used to run beautifully.. was take John'o'groats to landsend no problem.. took it appart to do it up and never finished..
hopefully it ain't all seized :(

Is there any benefit in using Millers 20/50 mineral (the one that is designed for shared gearbox oil engines) as opposed to Halfords classic?

I've used both mate and to be honest I can't tell the difference. Both seem to have very good ZDDP levels and both give lovely gear changes so I couldn't tell you one is better than the other. I'm sure one of the experts will help you out. Kernowcooper will most likely be able to answer you

I think if you ain't got bucket seats, you have to have a centre console.. if you've got bucket seats, no way
