That is a relay V. It's probably been added by someone else as like you say the SA cars didn't have them. However if you get a new one of those just make sure it has the same ratings (take it as a sample) and it will be a straight swap.

Thanks Dom, I'll take to the midas down the road on Friday. Do you think I'll be able to get a standard old loom from an old 1275E?
