Must depend on your local guy. Mine is ace, had some stuff yesterday and a short block today. Lifted it with me into the workshop

I ordered bits on Thursday my time from MS, via DHL......arrived in country 24hrs later......now the last 140km from airport to here will take 3 days

Yup, probably DHL SA that is the problem. Rather inefficient customs office.
