Didn't think crystal palace was organised, and could have had a bit of entertainment, when I finally got out in the there was only 1 mini infront of me who went their own way so no convoy for me until the last little stretch. And to top it off I didn't get back till 4am thanks to a suspected head gasket.

Yep - not much convoy for me either until nearer Brighton as was late to leave CP. Will know for next time though! Great time when we got there....

Jam it in, will be ABSOLUTLY fine mate. Refresh with 20/50 as soon as you can ideally but it won't just blow up! Mixing grades is fine we mix grades on race cars depending on temperature to get ideal viscosity

I had that a few times last year - a quick cover up with a shopping bag and an elastic band and it was good to go (but I wasnt driving any big distance). There is also something on a thread on here about using a rubber washing up glove with the ends of the fingers cut out and put over the dizzy.

I only ever did about 30 miles like that though, just keep the bag well clear of getting stuck to a hot engine or coming loose, wouldnt want to be responsible for any damage, really is a short fix.

What does it look like? I've got the cone shape filter with a 1.5" hole.
I've managed to fit it but I've had to use a makeshift cardboard gasket.

get a colour tune and do it yourself if you read how :) a friend did mine and its running as good as ever :D
