my dad wants his driveway back, and i had an accident recently so am unable to work on it for quite a while :( this isnt the end tho, i will get another

You posted a topic on your accident not too long ago. :( Good luck with the sale, and make sure you buy another. I've driven many cars, and not one compares to driving a mini. I'm currently driving an old mk3 astra estate, as a daily driver, and miss driving the mini so much.

aha cheers for that, it sparks and it wants to start, occasionally it does but it cuts out quick and doesn't want to run :(

have you had the carb apart? It might just be gummed up?

I've had it apart and cleaned it up.. So I really don't know what's wrong with it. If I get a chance I will take it off and get some pics and try the other carb I have
