Community Status Updates

Cylinder Head has now been reconditioned, now to clean part of the block, replace necessary parts and put everything back together.

Looking for a place to recondition my 998 cylinder head in the Bucks, Beds and/or Oxfordshire region.

Rob Walker is on a small industrial estate at New Yatt near Witney, West Oxfordshire and came to my attention by recommendation. He's a busy bloke obviously as my engine's had two birthdays with him and when I last popped in he appeared to have lost my crankshaft! Granted, I first said my job wasn't needed quickly, but two and a half years, come on! Apparently he's good though.

Replaced Exhaust system with Maniflow exhaust as well as replacing other things. However, Mini has recently developed Misfire on Cylinder 3.

Sorry, forgot to update, we found out the problem was the head gasket, it had split between cylinders 3 and 4.
