What would cause a turbo diesel engine to just die at 70 mph? Electrics all seem fine. Belts intact ...Engine not turning over.

If the oil drains suddenly an engine can seize almost instantly.

no compression (if he is correct) could be cam belt or chain
does the engine turn on the key ?

No. Nothing at all. Not even a click. The chain is fine apparently. Plenty of oil in it. Mystery ...
